Newton's Laws
Newton’s three laws were introduced. First Law: An object in motion must remain in motion unless there is an unbalanced force. Second law: Force equals math times acceleration. Third law: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. -
Congreve

- Were used as rockets in war and battle.
- Were very sucessful.
-
Konstantin Tsiolkovsky
- Proposed the idea of space exploration by rocket.
- He stated that "the speed and range of a rocket were limited only by the exhaust velocity of escaping gases."
- Suggested the use of liquid propellants for rockets in order to achieve greater range.
-
Robert H. Goddard
He conducted many practical experiments in rocketry. He Thought of ways to get the rockets higher. He puplished, "A Method of Reaching Extreme Altitudes." -

Dragon V2
The DragonV2 is used to develop a new generation of U.S. spacecraft and rockets capable of transporting humans to and from Earth's orbit and American grounds. NASA intends to use such commercial systems to fly U.S. astronauts to and from the International Space Station.
