Justinian Code 527 CE
- Roman laws were made firm by the roman emperor named Justinian who has also codified 1000 years of Roman laws and invented that is mostly known as the Justinian code. -Laws that have existed before, were written down to ensure that people were fully aware of their obligations -The Justinian laws audience were for the entire Roman Empire.

-If crimes were commited no execution was neccessary. On the other hand-if ones were guilty or a crime they've commmited, then they are to be blinded and castrated. Crimes were also considered a breach of kings peace

King John 1215 CE
-King John is an important part of human English law history.
-Since the King viewed himself as being above the law he abused the power of his position, which then lead other powerful groups forcing him to sign a law called the Magna Carta (in 1215).
-The Magna-Carta foretold a famous achievement, the writ of Hadius Corpus, which said that anyone who was imprisoned without an explanation was entitled to appear before the courts within a reasonable amount of time and to be released or tried. -
1804 CE Napoleon
- After the French revolution, an Emperor named Napoleon Bonaparte who revised French law, originally based on Roman law and the Justinian Code. Since Bonaparte conquered most of Europe , his code known as the Napoleonic Code or the Frech civil code, was used as a model for most of the European law. -As more of the French immigrants settled in parts of the new World, the French civil code became the basis of the law in QUEBEC.
