    Punk Rock started in the early 70's in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. It tried to differentiate itself from the mainstream rock by reducing the amount of instruments used and delivering fast paced songs.
    In the UK, especially in London, punk rock derived in a highly controversial cultural movement rebelling against all forms of authority.
    Some of the most important punk rock groups are Sex Pistols, The Ramones or The Clash.
