Though the very first building to have electricity was in 1880, the spread of electricity started to escalate in later 1800s. Eventually reaching homes for families, making it so they could have more conveniences with lights, cooking, washing, etc. -
Vacuum cleaner was invented
This would help families be able to clean their homes at a much faster rate, saving time and money in tidying. -
First Transmission of the Radio was made
Eventually leading to radio broadcasting, this would help families in gaining more outside information from their homes. Staying up with the news, and even having some forms of entertainment for leisure outside of work. -
Air Conditioning
With this invention, it would help many feel relief from summer heats. Making it so families could enjoy more time indoors together, and help reduce costs in ice for their food. -
Tea Bags
On this date, the first tea bag was invented in hopes to help save time in tea making for women at home. As well as helping with getting drinks quicker for those going to work and school. -
Plastic Created
Plastic would lead to different times of handy uses for the family. One in helping with management was in having plastic containers for food, making it so leftover meals could last for days. Saving on time in cooking and money in buying more food. -
Automobile becoming the norm
This is when the automobile became more common for many, helping families from far distances to connect and to save time in work and buying household items. A great helper in time management for the family.
