No Rink, But the Governors have Equipment
"The team was under the severe handicap of not having a rink where it might practice regularly. Then, too, was a noticable lack of equipment. But ... this difficult was overcome." -

The Lean Years: The Depression and More
From 1933-1937 very little, if anything was mentioned about hockey. The country was still in war time mode and suffering great financial depression. Leading up to this period there was much comment on the lack of interest in hockey by students and staff, inadequate funds for equipment, no place to practice or play, and for a couple of years the Captain of the team was also the Coach of the team. They were plagued by players being made ineligible, bad weather and at one point only 5 team members -
