The history of globalization included space, global communications, health and medicine helped shape the world today.

Computers came into use in the 1940's (2).
In the 1940's computers became popular and helped people type rather than write. The 1940's however, included the big computers and weren't as efficient as computers are today but it helped develop the computers that one has today. -
Medical advancements began to develop in the 1950's (3).
Before medicine was not a major part of people's lives, mostly because it was not helpful. In the 1950's people started to develop new medical technology to help people. People started to care and through the years more advances were created, such as laser and ultrasound. This is like, someone procrastinating their homework thinking it is not important then suddenly they realize it is. Medical developments were essentially the same idea. -
In the 1960's artificial satellites were launched into orbit and has aided global communications.
Satellites increased communication throughout the world. Before, communication was harder and took more effort to get across a message to a different country. Once satellites were launched, communication was easier. Things could be televised around the word, for all to see in the 1990's. Satellites were the most important step in communication concerning the history of globalization. -
The space race of the 1950's through the 1970's was intensely competitive but in the 1970's people began to work together (Roger 1).
During this time period everything revolved around space. Different countries would compete against each other due to space. Each country wanted to be the first to discover something incredible. However, in the 1970's countries started to realize that they most work together with other countries to gain what they both desired. Because of this, countries had to communicate with one another and get along which has shaped globalization. -
Advances in medical images caused an improvement in health care (3).
CAT scans and MRI were used to see clearly in the organs. Doctors could then see any injuries, tumors, and any other necessary information. It helped individuals appreciate health care and want it. Before these improvements people would not why they were in pain or why they had died. As these progresses came along, people were able to identify their problems. Using this type of technology throughout the world helped globalization establish and become more popular in the future. -
Conclusion
If the history og globalization did not include space, communication, and health one would not have the technology or information they do now. The events throughout history helped shape the world. Globalization has developed due to space competition, communication, and the advances in medicine and health.
