Leather Jackets first started out for the military, and for some other jobs. Then it became for popularity or class, and now its just and everyday style. People found them more popular when seen in some popular movies. -
Converse shoes
Converse were created in 1908. Later in 1920 they were re named canvas basketball sneakers, or "All Star". At first they were just used for sports, but then people started using them for anything. People changed them and made them their own. -
HeadBands
Head bands have also been around for a long time used especially in ancient Greece. In the 1970s head bands became big especially in sports wear. In the roaring 20s the headband became more used and stylish. -
Tank tops
Tank tops were named after the one piece bathing suit, because of the thin straps and exposure. The tank top is more used as an undergarment and for sports wear. -
Tights
At first it was men that wore tights, but then they created a skin colored smooth material for women to wear. It was made to keep them covered, but the skin toned color helped to hide it. -

The first wedge made didn't have a distinct heel and had a different strap. Later on a designer made the wedge out of cork and wood for sturdiness and color. -

Created barely 100 years ago the graphic t shirt has grown. In 1939 The Wizard of Oz was the first movie to ever use graphic t shirts. July, 13, of 1942 the graphic shirt was public, And it wasn't until 1951 that the t shirt finally took off. Then people started making them their own with pictures, names, and logos. -

Many people used what we would scarves now for different purposes. Some used it for around the head, neck, waist and many other places. -
Leggings
Leggings were big in 80s, and when they came back in 2006 people weren't so sure of them. But they came to stay and are now again a very popular piece of clothing. And you can wear them for anything. -
Heels
Each culture had their own kind of heel even if it didn't look like a heel. Later they improved the heel making it somewhat more comfortable, and making it look nicer. This heel was used for feminism and height.
