1910's Fashion
In the 1910’s the way women dressed was very different to how women dress today, women’s hair was normally tied up and put into a hat their skirts/dresses got shorter because of all the stuff they had to do, they use to drive cars, do gardening and do many other things which their long dresses would get in the way of things. Men were into top hats and skinny trousers and suits. -
1920's Fashion
The 1920’s fashion was a big thing to women they had to look great but classy, they use to wear coats that would go to their ankles and have big chunks of fur around their necks. Ballroom dancing was a big thing in the 1920’s so women wore very fancy dresses and they were very fond of fans they loved big hats and use to be very fond of umbrella’s. -
1930's Fashion
In the 1930’s fashion was very formal and you always had to look your best men wore fancy suits and always had their hair looking nice and tidy, women always use to wear long dresses and they had their dresses pulled in tight at their waists so they would look slim. -
1940's Fashion
In the 1940’s women were very into matching clothing and they loved handbags, they also wore suits and walked around with umbrella’s as fashion accessories they loved walking around in their big hats and puffy coats. Men were very fond of top hats and suits. -
1950's Fashion
Women in the 1950’s had a thing for big coats and gloves they would wear gloves with everything especially dresses, their dresses were always big and fancy. Men were also into the big coats but instead of gloves they would always wear tights they would also wear shirts and tight trousers a lot of the time as casual clothing. -
1960's Fashion
In the 1960’s people were just starting to take on the whole hippie-look people would wear tie-died tops, flared out trousers and sandals.. everything was bright and people started to get into wearing big floral designs -
1970's Fashion
In the 1970’s everything had to be big, big hair, big collars ect. Men use to wear flared trousers, shirts with flared out collars and they always had their hair big. As for women they were into things like flared trousers but they also wore short dresses and go-go boots because that was the fashion back then.
