    Plessy vs. Ferguson
    Plessy vs. Furguson was so important in the history of education because it created seperate, but equal education for students of all backgrounds. After this was passed, African American students were able to recieve an equal education although it was not at the same school as white students. This was such a huge step in the history of education because African Americans were finally able to get the education that they deserve.
  • Brown vs. Board

    Brown vs. Board
    This was such an important event in the history of education because it deminished the racial segreagation of schools. Although a law had already passed making education and schools equal, now students were able to attend the same exact schools whether they were black or white. This was such a huge break through because students should learn altogether, and learn the importance of accepting students of all different ethnic backgrounds.

    The Public Law 85-926 was created to support the education of Special Education Teachers. This was such a huge step in the history of education because people realized that people with disabilities needed and deserved an education just as good as everyone else. It doesn't matter what disability a person has, there are always ways for them to learn and to further their education.

    No Child Left Behind Act
    The No Child Left Behind Act was such a crucial part of the history of education because this ensured that students were getting a good education by holding school districts and teachers accountable for their instruction. Schools and teachers needed to meet certain standards and this was measured through students participating in standardized testing. Equal education is a law, but the No Child Left Behind Act makes sure that it is happening.

    Race to the Top
    Race to the Top was so important in the History of Education because it costs money to be able to provide a good education. If certain schools have much more learning materials, they are probably able to give a better education. Race to the Top was granted with billions of dollars to use toward education and to better education. Our country is always trying to further our students education, which is so important.
