Scythan archers using biological warfear
In 400BC Scythan archers mixed their arrows in a mixture of blood, snake venom and dung and left the mixture to gather bactiria for a week. This mean't that if some one was hit by an arrow but didn't die straight away, the gangrine and tetanus bacteiria would attack their their limbs which would fall off, then they would suffer a slow and painful death. This technice was recorded by Herodotus a Greek historian. -
