Charles Babbage
The first ever computer that was made with the modern technology that we use today was built by Charles Babbage. He invented the analytical engine which we use today, before he invented this modern computer, a computar was a person who sat all day and added and subtracted numbers and then added them to labels which eventually went into books. He spent 8 years perfecting his invention and in 1932 he made the first prototype. Later on in 1937 the first example of the modern computer was built. -
Alan Turing
Alan Turing was a british scientist that made a severely important invention. During WW2 he invented a machine that helped Britain break the German Enigma Code. The GErman Enigma Code was used to send strategies and messages before and during WW2 so because of Alan Turing, Britain could be one step ahead. -
John Von Neumann
John Von Neumann invented the storage system in the computer, this is a really important invention because the computer would almost be useless if it hadn't had a big storage system. You wouldn’t be able to save anything and the computer would only be like an advanced calculator that resets every time you use it. -

Apple is one of the most successful computer and phone companies in the world and without them the current phone design would be different.
