    Alexander Graham Bell invented the first ever phone. At first it was very rare to use because the person you wanted to call had to have a phone as well and they were very expensive.

    -It was created to help solve the mathmatical problem posed by Max newman.
    - It was opened at Blechley park.
    -There is now one on show in the museum at Birchley Park
    -It was then used to help break German code in WW2
    -they were discontiuned in 1945
    -This is very important as it helped to win WW2as it decoded German code and it also took another step closer to where we are today with our technology.

    Ray Tomlinson was the first person to ever send an email. He sent it to himself and it said 'QWERTYIOP'. he implented it onto ARPANET. It was the first way to send a messge to a differnet computer.his email messaging system wasn't thought to be a big deal. When Tomlinson showed it to his colleague Jerry Burchfiel, Tomlinson said "Don't tell anyone! This isn't what we're supposed to be working on."
