    This game was invented by Al Alcorn who was hired by a California entrepreneur named Nolan Bushnell. It was originally meant to be a driving game, but it was soon found out that it was too complicated for this time period. Instead, he designed an online ping pong game.

    The Sims was one of the first games that allowed players to create homes, get jobs, and form real life relationships. The game took concepts from Sim City. Characters could be customized and spoke a special language called Similsh.
