The Colossus
The Colossus was operational at Bletchley Park. Tommy Flowers was the guy that made the Colossus. The Colossus was used to recieve messages way faster in WWII. This is important because the message people were trying to send out would get out faster. -
UNIVAC Computer
The UNIVAC computer was the first commercial computer and was able to pick presedential winners. John Presper Eckert and John W Mauchly were the ones that invented this. This is an important invention because with this machine you were able to pick presedential winners. -

A magnetic core was installed on the Whirlwind Computer. This made computers go faster, more reliable, and easier to make. Jay Forrster invented this. I think this is important because it made things go faster and more reliable. -

The very first computer game was invented and was named Spacewar Computer Game. It was invented by Steve Russell and MIT. I think this is an important event because if people were bored they could just play this new game that had came out. -

The word processers was made in 1979. Seymour Rubenstein and Rob Barnaby made the word processers. This is an important invention because people must have been waiting for this, and do work. People could complete work with this invention.
