Hall of Fame
Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame is opened in Springfield Massachusetts. (Fun fact I’ve been there and its tons of fun. If you haven’t been you should really go!) This is important because if you’re a really good player then you end up getting a place in the hall of fame.

New Orleans Jazz
The NBA continues to expand and now has 18 teams, with the newest addition being New Orleans Jazz. This is important because the NBA is getting bigger, and also because I wanted to add it in eventually Utah gets the Jazz and we went and saw them on several occasions while we lived in Utah.

This was the highest scoring game in NBA history. The Detroit Pistons beat the Denver Nuggets 186-184. This is important because it’s the game with the greatest amount of point. And included it because I used to live in Michigan. This also was the year my mom was born.
