Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany. Her parents were Edith and Otto Frank she also had a sister named Margra.

Hitler becoming leader

Jan 30, 1933

Adolf Hitler became chancelor(head of the gov.) of Germany. He also built the first concentration camp which was established by the Nazis. Finally, the Nazis pass their first anti-Jewishlaw, banning the pubic empolyment of Jews.

The Nuremburg laws Passed

The laws was passed, denying Jews German citizenshipand forbidding marriage between Jews and non-Jews

Van Pels

The Van Pels family(called the Van Daans in Anne's Diary) flee Germany for the Netherlands.

Invasion

The German army invades and annexes Austria The Munich Agreement, granting Germany the right to annex part of Czechoslovakia, is drafted and signed by representatives of France, Great Britain, Italy, and Germany. Kristanacht ed by the SS, the Nazi special police, Germans beat snd kill Jews, loot Jeeish stores, and burn synagogues.Fritz Ofeffer flees Germany.

Germany invades and occupies most of Czechoslovakia. Germany invades Poland: World War ll begins. France and Great Britain declare war on Germany two days later

Germany invades Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemourg, and France.Japan joins the Axis.

Germany invades the Soviet Union. The US enters wae on the Allied Nations side (incuding Great Britain, the Soviet Union, and other countries) after Japan attacks the US naval base at Pearl Harbor.

Hilter secretly announced that millions of Jews in the concentration camp was to be killed.

D-Day

Jun 6, 1944

D-Day; Allied foces land in Nomandy, in northern France, and launch the invasion of western Europe, Nazis raid the Secret Annex, Mr. Van Pels dies, Fritz Pfeffer dies.

Ending

May 8, 1945

The war ends with unconditional surrender, Japan surrenders after the US drops atomic bombs on the Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki, WWll ends one week later.

Bye-Bye

Oct 15, 1945

Anne's mother died in Auschwitz. Three weeks later father is freed when Auschwitz is liberated by Soviet army. Anne and Margot die in the Bergen-Belsen a few weeks before British soldiers liberate the camp. Peter Van-Pels dies in Mauthausen. Mrs. Van-Pels dies in Theresienstadt.
