    The first flipbok was patented by John Barnes Linnet and he called it a Kineograph. It is a small book with several several pages bound or held together on one side. When you bend all the pages back with your thumb and gradually let the pages flow back. While watching the images that have been drawn or printed, they create a "moving picture."

    Stop motion is a technique where real objectsare move around in different frames while an image is being recorded which when played at a normal frame rate, appear as if there is an invisible force acting upon them.
    Stop motion was given attention by all and a short stop motion animation was produced in 1908 called The Humpty Dumpty Circus. There are many different techniques for stop motion including claymation. Many many people today still use it in tv cartoons, gifs and movies.

    Animated shortOn a train ride from to New York to California, Disney came up with a funny little mouse character with big round ears, a long thin tail and a big smile so he could create a cartoon to animate. This character was to be named Mortimer Mouse but his wife, Lillian, suggested a more livelier name, Mickey. From there after, he was known as Mickey Mouse.

Now it is worth about 416 million dollars and it only costs a little over 1 million to make.
