  • 20,000 British troops land in Boston

    The quartering acts had all these troops go to Boston and housed by the colonists.

    5 people died because people were trying to get into the place where taxes were held and redcoats shot into the crowd
  • Boston Tea Act

    This is when Britain took over all Tea trade and it made sure that the merchants couldn't sell Tea anymore
  • Boston Tea Party

    The Sons of Liberty and others threw Tea into the Boston waters
  • Intolerable Acts

    Four laws were passed where 1. The port was closed until all Tea was payed for 2. There were no meetings without permission 3.colonists had to house red coats 4. They had to pay for everything
  • Protests on the Intolerable Acts

    The woman of liberty started boycotting the Britain goods and selling coffee and there own tea.

    This is where French Canadians had full religious Freedom and Canada was expanded to the Ohio River Valley
