The Declaration of independance
On this date in 1776 the British Colonies declared their independence from Britain creating the United states. This is also one of the major causes of the American revolution. -
The Louisiana Purchace
Thomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana territory from France in 1803. Once the land was bought the U.S. doubled in size! We also got control of the Mississippi river. This event was so important because now the U.S. can live up to its full potential. -
The Alamo
In late April of 1836, Houston surprised Santa Anna. This was near the San Jacinto river. The Texans started screaming, "remember the Alamo!" "Remember Goliad" Then in about 18 minutes, The Texans killed more then halve of the Mexican army. Later Santa Anna had to sign a piece treaty with Texan so they would have their freedom. -
The Trial of Tears
In 1838 to 1839 is the Andrew Jackson's Indian removal policy. In other words the Cherokee nation was forced to give up it's land east of Mississippi river. They were then sent to migrate to what is now Oklahoma. Their journey rout they took was called the Trail of Tears because of the devastation that took place. -
The Pony Express
In 1860 a system of messengers on horseback was created. It was called the Pony Express, the system was made to carry messages throughout the west. Their rout was about 2,000 miles long! Later on telegraph lines put the Pony Express out of business. -
The Attack Of Fort Sumter
In 1861 a federal outpost in Charleston South Carolina, in Fort Sumter, was attacked by confederate troops. This began the civil war. The confederates were determines to seize the footrace because it controlled the entrance to Charleston Harbor. -

The Holocaust is also known as World War 2. Germany had been takes over by Adolf Hitler with his Nazis. The Nazis, who were led my Hitler, were told to put all Jews in a concentration camp to die. Adolf Hitler was the fault of killing more then one million people. -
Attack of Pearl Harbor
On December 7th 1941 the Japanese attacked the U.S fleet at Pearl Harbor Hawaii. This would give Japan a chance to secure control of East Asia before the U.S military could respond. This act brought the U.S into the war. -
The supreme Case: Brown v the board of education.
In 1896 the Supreme Court had ruled in Plessy V, Ferguson that "separate-but-equal" factories were constitutional. Soon in 1951 the NAACP sued the Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas. Because they argued that segregated schools did not give equal opportunities to black and white children. After having many debates and arguments the court made it ruling in 1954. -
I Have A Dream Speach
On March Fist, 1963, Martin Luther King J.R gave his I have A dream Speach. His speech stated overall that all people should be treated equal. Martin Luther King was a powerful speaker and he went on to lead many marches. Many people were inspired by him. -
September 11, 2001
On September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. About 3,000 Americans were killed that day. Many people of cores wanted to find who had made this catastrophe, who the terrorists were. Later on AI Qaeda claimed responsibility. He was part of an Islamic terrorists group. -
Afghanistan war
On October first, 2001, the United States attacked Afghanistan, driving the Tibetan from power. We then began to help the country re build. U.S troop later announced that they had captured Bin Ladon. -
My birthday
This is the day I was born! I was the second born child in my family. I am also the youngest in my family.
