Proclamation of 1763
This was a document issued by King George III to prevent colonists from moving west into NA territory. It upset colonists and encouraged rebellion and resentment. (HA p. 10) -
Jamestown is Settled
Jamestown established as the first successful English Colony. Hundreds died from starvation and disease before they started growing tobacco. (HL p. 25)
