Stock Market Crash/Great depression
The stock Market crash in 1929 brought forth a great depression.
People lived and poverty and lost their jobs.President Herbert Hoover beileved people should help themselves. All looked down until a special someone stepped in. -
Dust Bowl (official adte uncertain)
(OFFICIAL DATE UNCERTAIN) The Dust Bowl was Dust storms which destroyed crops and cattle.Many farmers were forced to move out to California in this time, some leaving the only home they had ever known.This was very rough it sent most farmers and their famlies into bankruptcy. -
FDR
Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected president in 1932.
Little did he know this would be just 1 of his 4 terms.
Roosevelt proposed the alphabet laws (see next article).
to help people get back on their feet. -

Franklin was born on
He married his distant cousin Elanor Roosevelt later on in his life.
He was diagnosed with polio and it seemed his political amabitions had come to an end.But Elanor refused to see her husband give up on his dream so, even though she was shy, she gave many speeches for him. She was popular among the people which helped him in his political career. -
Alphabet Laws (1933-1935)
The Alphabet laws helped Americans get back on their feet.
Like then WPA helped unemployed americnas get jobs and so did the CCC. There is also the AAA,TVA,and many many more. -
WW2
Little did America know that a year from this date they would enter WW2.They tried to stay neutral but when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor there was no choice.
