The 9-11 Incident was leas by Osama Bin Laden and he and other memebers drove planes into the World Trade Centre in New York. I chose this event because it touched manys heart and that it was really sad that the innocent people died. -
Yangju highway incident
In South Korea, United States Army were in an armed vehicle when they crashed into two girls. -
Sars
Sars, also known as "Severe Actute Repiratory Syndrom" is a viral respiratory disease in humans which caused 916 deaths. It was spread from Hong Kong tthen affeccted 37 other countries and took place from November 2002- July 2003. I chose this event because it affected my home country and one of my mom's friend. -
2004 Olympics
The 2004 Olympics was held in Athens, Greece from 13 to the 29 of August. There were 301 medals won in 28 sports. The 2004 Olympics were said as "unforgettable, dream games" by IOC president. I really like sports and the Olympics and I LOVE to go to Athens because it is a beautiful place. -
Car Bomb
On May 3, a car bomb exploded and killed at least 12 people and injured 12 people. I chose it because I thought it was a ver violent action to do and no one should do it. -
The Liberia President
Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is the 24th and current President of Liberia. On 23 November 2005, they announced that she was the winner however, 16 January 2006. I chose this event because she is the first elected female head of state in Africa and it inspired me that women can do what men can do. -
Batasang Pambansa Bombing
The bombing occured at night at Quezon City, Philippinenes and it killed two people and wounded four. This affected my becuase I think that this knd of action should not happen to the world and it should stop. -
The Beijing Olympics
The Beijing Olympics was held from the 8 to the 24 of August. Over 11,028 athletes competed in 28 sports and 302 events. China won the most gold medals while USA won the most total medals. I chose the Beijing Olympics because China, my home country won the most GOLD medals and I thought that the mascots were really cute. -
Obama, the US President
Barack Obama is the president of the united states until this day. He announced that he was going to run for president on February 10, 2007 against John McCain then he won. I chose this event because Obama really changed America into being a better place and there have been fewer incidents that have happened. -
The Winter Olympics
The Winter Olympics were held in Vancouver and it was held from the 10t to the 28 of Feburuary. 2600 altheletes competed in 86 events representing 82 nations worldwide and the United States won the most medals. I really like the Winter Olympics because it is not like the usual Olympics because there are more sports like sking etc. to participate in. -
2011 Domodedovo Airport bombing
There was an attack in Domodedvo Airport in Moscow killing 37 people, injuring 173 people. The bomber is actually a twenty year-old man who is trianed slamist terrorists. This affected me because sucides are terribly and nobody should die for no reason. -
Secondary School
I started secondary school this year and it is really exciting because I am going to learn at a new campus with new teachers. This experience is enchanting.
