    Purpose: Directed trade between England and the Colonies. Outcome: Colonists began to smuggling.

    Purpose: Colonists coild not move west: Outcome: Colonists were angered and and helped them stay away from french.

    Purpose: Lowered taxes in molases. Outcome: Colonists still didn't want to pay taxes.

    Stamp Act
    Purpose: Parliment placed a tax onalmost all printed goods. Outcome: The colonists protested this act.
  • Declaratory Act

    Declaratory Act
    Purpose: Law said that Parliment could tax and make decisions for the colonies. Outcome:The colonists were infuriated and did not want Parliment in charge.
  • Townshed Act

    Townshed Act
    Purpose: Highered taxes on glass, tea, and paper. Outcome: Colontists boycotted these goods and thier taxes.
  • Tea Act

    Purpose: Highered taxes on British goods. Outcome: Colonists boycotted British goods.
  • Coercive Act

    Coercive Act
    Purpose: Closed all Boston Harbors until massachutes paid for ruined tea. Outcome: No food and supplies came in so colonists were angry and had to house their on soldiers.
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    Purpose: Set up a goverment for Quebec Outcome: Colonists expressed their feelings and named it the Intolerable Acts.
