    Helen Longino's first book was called, "Social Knowledge: Values and Objectivity in Scientific Inquiry". This was huge for Helen. Reading this book, readers were able to get insight into sex-differentiated behavior, gender role behavior, social values, and diversity. She also speaks about various philosophers and their views of overall relation to science, values, and their different ideologies.

    Helen’s second book, Fate of Knowledge, gave a descriptive visual of her views on the reasons she believed that science is also social. In her book, she combines and compares the knowledge of philosophers along with sociologists of science in order to prove her findings. In this book, Helen seeks to break the current deadlock between sociology and the philosophy of science in regards to a disagreement about the role of social forces in constructing scientific knowledge.

    Helen wrote her 3rd book called, Studying Human Behavior where she enters into the complexities of human behavioral research as well as focused on a well-known debate, “nature versus nurture”. . She went in-depth on how it’s important to do more empirical investigation to study human behavior, instead of focusing on aggression and sexual behavior. Readers are able to explore the challenges of understanding human behavior.
