Hector's Life

  • Mom and Dad Divorced

    Mom and Dad Divorced
Whenever I needed help on homework, I looked forward to my mom to help me and it was different when she was not there to help me. It was sad to me when they split up, making it hard for me to concentrate on school and other daily habits. I really missed my mom but after some time we began to talk through the internet and video chat through Skype.
  • Not Enrolled Into School For Two Years

Not Enrolled Into School For Two Years
This is probably the worst choice I have ever made. Back then I was so lazy and and I never pushed to get enrolled. Since I missed 2 years of school now I am far behind in school and I wish I could have been more motivated to go to school.
  • My Dad got Married with Another Woman

My Dad got Married with Another Woman
I tried my best to get along with her but she was not a "mother-woman." She was being so unfair to me and my brother like she would sometimes try to tell our dad not to buy us stuff and instead to buy her what she wants. She would also not let our dad spend much time with us as much as he used to. These times were hard but I learned to take better care of myself for when my parents are not there.
  • Participated in a Tournament and Won

Participated in a Tournament and Won
This event is important to me because it was my first time ever attending a tournament in real life other than through the internet. I am really shy and going to this tournament showed me to be more social with others. I also learned that tournaments can be really fun and make you extremely nervous.
  • Moved to San Diego

    Moved to San Diego
After some time of living with our step-mom we had to move out for a while because of the way she treated us in an unethical way. I am really glad me and my brother moved to San Diego because over there I was enrolled to school for a year. This was when it opened my mind and motivated me to go to school and catch up. Throughout this year I caught up on 2 years of school. I also became a lot more responsible during these times since we did not have our parents there to take care of us.
  • Trip to Six Flags

    Trip to Six Flags
This was something I don't do every day. I was also really scared of roller coasters but my brother and uncle pushed me to go with them. I am really happy they pushed me to go with them because if not my fear for roller coasters would still be standing. This was my first time ever on a roller coaster and now I see that it's actually really fun to ride roller coasters.
  • Moved Back to AZ with my Dad

Moved Back to AZ with my Dad
After a year of not seeing each other, I was really happy to be moving back with my dad in Arizona. It also seemed that my step-mom changed a lot and she treated us better when we returned.
  • First Time Seeing my Baby Brother

I was so happy to meet him for the first time, I couldn't remove the smile from my face whenever I would see him. I have also never lived in a house with a growing baby so I am learning things about babies that I have only read through books and never witnessed for myself. I also learned a new responsibility which is taking care of an infant, I would have to take care of him when no one was home due to them having to go to work.
  • I Enrolled into Primavera

    I Enrolled into Primavera
Finally after some moving I was enrolled back into school to catch up and try to finish on time. I was stalling a little bit but I was pushed by my brother and I am now enrolled into this school. This is important to me because I plan on staying in this school all the way until I graduate. Usually what causes me to get behind in school is all the moving out we do but since I can go to this school as long as I am in Arizona I will always be enrolled.
