The Magna Carta was created to take power away from the king and make it more fare for the peasants. The Magna Carta Was a great influence for similar documents in America so without the Magna Carta some documents formed in America may no exist. -
England establishes colonies that become the USA
When England started to colonize one area of the world they first went to colonize was North America. Without the colonization of America we would not be standing here, other religions and people could have colonized North America first and it would be a very different place. -
Britain dominates part of China
When the king of Britain wanted more land and power he decided to take over parts of China. If Britain didn't take over parts of China, China could be more powerful and could have been powerful during the wars. -
Britain takes control of India
When Britain took control over India they created the East India trading company. Without the trading company new colonists in America could have had a tougher time surviving. -
Britain controls large sections of Africa
When Britain went to Africa they were interested in the profits that could be made in slave trade. If Britain didn't start slave trading there could be a lot less racial issues in America like today. -
Britain helps win World War I
In 1914 Britain joined the Allies to help fight with America against German forces. If Britain and the Allies didn't help defeat Germany the Nazis may have been able to take over the world. -
Britain helps win World War II
When Hitler said he wan't going to give up on invading Poland Britain and France combined forces with America to stop Hitler. If Hitler won he would control the world and destroy and change the countries that stood against him. -
Britain helps win the Cold War
The cold war started because Russia wanted to spread the word of communism throughout the globe and to stop the Russians the United States and Britain helped each other to defeat the Russians. If the Russians won communism would could be controlling majority of the world. -
Britain helps win the first Gulf War
The Gulf war started because Hussein was defying the United Nations who then became a threat. If Hussein won against the United Nations the relationship between nations could go bad and try to take each other over.
