    Harriet Tubman was born January 29. She was a former slave who got beaten and whipped a lot, from that she suffered a traumatic head wound. She was known for being an escaped slave who went on missions to rescue slaves. She helped seventy enslaved families and friends escape by using the Underground Railroad. Harriet was also into helping women suffrage. Harriet got involved with Women’s right Convention in Seneca Falls. She wanted women to have the right to go to school, vote, have jobs etc.
