Chartered
Tri Sigma was first joined Auburn's campus as the 18th sorority in 2016. They started promotional events in the spring, and officially started membership that fall. Their recruitment process was not through formal recruitment, but through a continuous open bidding process instead. -
First Philanthropy Event
They hosted their first philanthropy event, Sunrise with Sigma, as a way to raise money for the March of Dimes and Robbie Page Memorial Foundation. This event was hosted at night, and sold breakfast food for dinner. They had this event for the following year as well. -
Installation
Sigma Sigma Sigma headquarters nationally recognized Theta Iota-Tri Sigma at Auburn University as an official chapter of Tri Sigma. The national officers held an installation ceremony in honor of their success. -
First Formal Recruitment
Sigma held its first formal recruitment August of 2017. They went through all four rounds of recruitment, and got 55 ladies on bid day. -
Initiation
Sigma initiated their first official new member class. -
Sunrise with Sigma
Sigma hosts their second philanthropy event, raising $9000 dollars off of breakfast food. This was the last Sunrise with Sigma they held, changing their event to something else. -
Dance Marathon
Sigma won the best returning team of 2018 dance marathon where the team raised more than $20,000 for Children's Miracle Network. -
Week of Kindness
Sigma hosted their first Week of Kindness where they did small acts of kindness around Auburn's campus and the community. For an entire week, they passed out free stuff along the concourse like candy, food, and encouraging notes. -
Second Recruitment
Sigma hosted their second recruitment, gaining 68 new members to add to their roaster. They were able to have a new member retreat in Gulf Shores, Ala. -
Cornhole Classic
Tri Sigma put together a corn hole tournament against all of greek life. The winning duo would win $250 towards their philanthropy. They raise $8900 from the corn hole tournament. -
First Sigma Panhellenic Council Member
The treasurer wins election's for treasurer of Panhellenic, earning a spot on council. -
Most Philanthropic New Chapter Award
Sigma gets awarded the Most Philanthropic New Chapter Award by Nation Headquarters for Sigma Sigma Sigma. -
20,000 Random Acts of Kindness
Sigma went to the next level for the second Week of Kindness. They expanded their mission and did over 20,000 random acts of kindness from putting quarters downtown to pay for parking, to putting candy in classrooms with encouraging notes. Their big success has them pledging to do as many random acts as there are students and faculty at Auburn University. -
Rootin' for Robbie
Tri Sigma put on their first Rootin' for Robbie philanthropy event. They served soda floats and pizza. The group raise $7,000 from the event. -
Greek Sing Chair
Current sister of Sigma received the title Greek Sing Chair after serving as assistant for the last chair. She has the opportunity to plan out the sorority wide dance competition, as well as raise money for Habitat for Humanity. -
First National Convention
The Theta Iota chapter of Tri Sigma was able to go to their first national convention in Las Vegas. The president got to meet other national chapter presidents, as well as national officers and leaders. She was able to hang their shield with the other shields for the first time in Theta Iota, Tri Sigma at Auburn University, history. -
Third Recruitment
Sigma completed their third recruitment gaining 75 new members to add to their sisterhood. These new members went to Gulf Shores as a fun retreat.
