Sep 5, 2013 The cotyledon of the seed began to appear. Sep 7, 2013 The epicotyl of the seed elongates and a root appeared poking out of soil. Sep 9, 2013 The root started growing up out of the soil and the seed started opening up. Sep 11, 2013 Leaves began to appear from the seed and it began to start looking more like a plant. Sep 13, 2013 The root began to straighten and new leaves developed.It was looking more and more like a sunflower. Sep 16, 2013 A sunflower had developed from a seed!!!
