What we noticed about the costumes was that everyone in the video is wearing the same costume or something very similar and the same grey coloured costumes. -
Costume link with Location
The location seems to be an abandoned house, with dust, dirt and broken windows etc. The costumes link as the dancers wearing the costumes themselves are look dirty suggesting that the dancers were living there as well. -
Costumes link with genre
As Sia is seen as pop artist there seems to be no correlation with the costumes and the genre as pop costumes are often flashy jewellery and trendy clothes. -
Location
From the video we can tell that the location is set in a abandoned house or some sort and are only shown the internal location. Like the basement, different rooms, the hallway etc -
Locations link with Song
There is a link between the location and song, the artist sings about being free and as you can see in the image and video the children/ dancers are in a room with prison bars and mange to escape and are now free. -
Props
This video is very simple and focuses heavily on the dancers. Some props are used like smoke also led lights
