    How Greek viewed their world was different compared to other places. They had very strong spiritual beliefs. A well-known component about the Greek is all of the Greek Gods that they believe in. They also created writing which many languages nowadays are based on.

    Greece created city-states which were a very successful idea. It was their process that they made up that was very balanced. They led a path that most modern-day countries took on.

    In 600 BCE the first type of money was introduced to Greek culture. It was a coin that was called Dekadrachm. In this time it was worth 10 drachmae and weighed about 43 grams. The equivalent of 10 drachmae is worth about .3 cents in US dollars. This is huge because it marked the start of a Greek economy.

    Over time the Greek Empire vastly expanded. It went as far west as Spain in 550 BC to as far east as India in 323 BC. The expanded to Spain by themselves and they expanded over to India while being united under Alexender The Great.

    Democracy was started in 508 BCE by the Greek. Democracy is a system where people vote for what they want and who they want. With this, the people in power make none of the decisions it's all in the people's hands. This system is revolutionary and still used to this day.

    The first Persian War took place in 492 BCE. This war started because Persia invaded Athens for their participation in a Greek raid. This war a difficult war to predict, to say the least. Then Athens had no idea that they were coming and had to quickly build an army.

    The end of the first Persian War was in 490 BCE. This war only lasted for two years but it still took a big toll on both of the sides. This war ended up killing 6,192 people. This had a big impact on Greek history.

This war spread Greece apart for this time due to the fighting and it made Greece weak in general. The end to the second war was in 479. This ended the long affair that eventually destroyed these two places.

    In the year 336 BCE Greece's first emperor died. King Phillip the II died due to an assassination. That marked his 23rd year of being the emperor of Greece.
