    Jason, Leader of the Argonauts
    Jason, son of Aeson, leader of the Argonauts in the quest for the Goled Fleece, lived in this time. His uncle gave him this quest due to Jason's desire to take his rightful place as king. He tried to make the quest impossable because he did not want to give up the throne. Jason eventually got there, but the king did not want to give up the fleece, so he gave him two difficult tasks. With the help of the enchantress Medea, he acired the fleece. He became king.

    Alexander the Great dies
    Alexander was ascended to the throne after his father, Phillip 2 was assasinated. He never lost a single battle while leading a large army. In Babylon he fell sick after a banquet and died at the age of 33. A year after his death his army and empire fell apart. This showing how great of a leader he was.

    The Greek sculptor, Phidias, sculpted 43ft ivory and gold statue of Zues as a gift. The staue was held in the sancturary of Zues in Olympia. This staue is now one of the seven wonders of the world.

    The twin borthers Remus and Romulus established the city of Rome. They did not want to serve anybody else as king so they left thier kingdom in Alba and established their own city. In this proccess, they got mad at each other and Romulus killed his brother Remus.

    The games were held in honor of the Greek god, Zues, in the middle of the summer in Olympia, Greece. The games were held to be one of the two central rituals in Ancient Greece. They were held every four years as an athletic compettion. Only free men were allowed to participate.
