Army troops attacked and massacred Cheyenne. Pregnant women had babies cut out of them, limbs were severed, very gruesome. Nobody was punished. -

Ponies and food stores destroyed. Any Comanches that survived moved to a reservation. Ended the indian wars on southern plains. -

Military killed sitting bull while trying to arrest him in a skirmish. Very religious movement to make hope to suffering Native American. Military showed up because it was suggested Indians were planning an uprising. -

Was a massacre of 300 people from the Lakota tribe by the US government.
