24th Amendment
This amendment abolished the poll tax in federal elections. No one can be stopped from voting. If you are a citizen you have the right to vote -
Tax Reduction Act
This act cut individual taxes to stimulate growth in the society. Taxes were cut up to 20%. This act is adjusted to fit the current times we live in. -
Omnibus Housing Act
This act provided money for low income housing. The goal of this act was to help people out who didn't make a lot of money. This bill is still used today. -
Higher Education Act
This allowed for school loans with low interest rates to college students. The purpose of this goal was to get more kids into college even if they couldn't pay for it at the moment. It is still used today -
Clean Air Act Amendment
This act was made to keep the air clean. The idea was we only have one earth so we should keep it clean. This is still used today. -
Highway Safety Act
This was the idea that highways need to be safe. People drive fast and there need to be regulations. This rules have been modified but are still in act today.
