Franklin D. Roosevelt is elected at the 32nd president. -

Congress passed the Emergency Banking Act that was put in place to help open all the banks that closed due to the stock market crash. -
Civilian Conservation Corps
The civilian Conservation Corps was made for men who are unmarried. They can go do jobs and make money. -
Emergency Farm Mortgage Act
Congress passed the act that $200 million would help people whos farms where facing foreclosure. -
Social Security
Social Security was made to help older people make money when they cant work. -
The dust bowl ends
In the fall rain returns the the midwest and to the south. There still wasn't very much top soil but the rain helped keep the dirt that will still there in tact. -
Great Depression ends
World War II starts and the US declared war on Japan. Because they need more supplies a lot more jobs open up for Americans.
