After the Wall St crash in1929 the economy is plunging. Stock prices of Australian exports crash by 50%. -
SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE OPENS
Sydny Harbour bridge opens, it is a triumph and creates jobs in the depression. -
UNEMPLOYMENT AT A HIGH
1 third of the working population is unemployed. -
