The British red coats opened fire on civilians in Boston. Three were killed instantly, and two died later on from wounds; even more were wounded. -
Boston Tea Party
It was the colonists way of rebelling against the taxes the King imposed on them. They snuck on board a ship and dumped all the tea into the ocean. -
First Continental Congress
The delegates of 12 out of the 13 colonies met in Philadelphia. They met in response to the Intolerable Acts. -
Intolerable Acts
The King of England wanted to punish colonies for the Boston Tea Party. He imposed a lot of unfair taxes which led to more rebellions. -

It was held soon after warfare began. It acted as the government. -
