    Nomadic Tribes arrive in the area

    Small settlements turn to larger permanent villages

    Heads of each village are elected

    Rivalries between villages result in conquering and small expansion of territories

    Villages further expanded through conquering, trade routes and marriage

    Through conquest, all the villages are united under one ruler, monarchy begins.

    Leader is declared King, power is passed through his bloodline.

    Bloodline is called into question, revolution breaks out.

    While unsuccessful, the revolts have left the idea of a different form of government is instilled into the minds of the citizens.

    Throne is taken over by a new conqueror, his bloodline begins

    Corruption in the monarchy causes major rifts between the rulers and the people

    The people overthrow the monarchy and put a new person on the throne

    Ruler is forced to allow proper representation for the civilians
