Make Goal Public
Tonight, I will talk to my mom about setting a goal of saving $400 for a prom dress. This will help me to stay on track towards my goal. I will also make sure that my mom will pay for the rest of my dress if I can not find a dress that is $400 or less. -
Start My Goal
My goal is to save at least $400 for a prom dress. I plan to do this by working AT LEAST 4 hours a week, making $9 an hour, which means my monthly paycheck should be at least $144. At the end of each month, I will recieve my paycheck and save $75, 50%, of it. My goal is to save this %50 instead of using it for clothes and other wants. I will use my other 50% for gas. -
Talk to Boss
Today I will talk to my boss and make sure that she will allow me to work at least 4 hour per week so that i can reach my goal of saving $75 of my $144 pay check each month. -

Reevaluate
Today I will reevaluate my goal. I will make sure that I am saving the amount i need to be. If I am behind, I will talk to my boss about getting more hours in order to reach my goal in time. If I have saved more than needed by now, I will decide if I want to continue saving half of my paycheck to get a more expensive dress, or stop saving when i reach $400. -

Today, I will got to a dress shop and pick out a dress that is $400 or less. If i have decided to save more than $400 when i reevaluated in January, I will pick out a dress that is the same amount that I have saved. If I can not find a dress in my price range, I will have my mom pay for the amount I can not
