Adopt a Dog
S: I will adopt an older dog from a local shelter.
M: I would like to do this by the end of the year, before christmas
A: I will save up enough money for the adoption fee and dog supplies.
R: By adopting an older dog it wont be as cute or as active as a puppy.
T: I want to adopt a dog before christmas so I can spoil it and show it what a real home is like. -
Graduate High school
S: I will graduate high school by the end of this year.
M: I can't graduate early because I messed around too much in my junior year so I will have to wait until May.
A: Studying hard and staying focused in all my classes and get the help when I need it.
R: I struggle with math but there are things I can do to overcome this problem and succeed.
T: I will need to have all my grades passing by the end of the quarter and the semesters after that until I graduate. -
Get Married
S: After my 22nd birthday I would like to get married.
M: I will wait until my 22nd birthday because that gives me time to explore life and really figure out what I want before I get settled down.
A: I will attain this goal by maintaining a healthy relationship and to not rush into things so I can make my marriage last.
R: I know that relationships are not perfect and there will be hardships but strong relationships always come through.
T: I am hoping to be happily married by 2023. -
Start College at DMACC
S: I will start college at DMACC in ankeny Iowa
M: I will do this by maintaining good grades and submitting an application.
R: I will have to live on campus to accomplish this and I wont be able to see my family or friends as much
T: I am hoping to accomplish this relatively soon after highschool. -
Start A Family
S: I would like to start a family and have kids someday.
M: I would like to do this before I am 30 years old.
A: I will do this by finding someone worth having kids with
R: I will have to give up some freedoms after I have kids
T: I want my kids to be at least 2-3 years apart before I have another one. -
Become a Mortician
S: I will become a mortician at a small funeral home somewhere in davenport.
M: I would like to have a job no later than 3 months after graduation.
A: I will accomplish this by putting in job applications and resumes to all local funeral homes.
R: I may have to expand my job zone to find the right fit for me
T: i want to be settled in and going strong by a year after my graduation. -
Graduate College
S: I want to graduate DMACC with at least a bachelor's degree in mortuary science.
M: I would like to do this within 4 years
A: I will accomplish this by getting good grades and applying myself to all of my classes.
R: I will have to give up a lot of money and a good chunk of my social life to accomplish this.
T: I will graduate college on time and walk across the stage. -
Buy a House
S: i will buy a nice house for me and my family to live and grow in
M: I would like to own a house before I am 30 years old.
A: I will do this by saving money and having good credit.
R: It will be very hard to save so much money.
T: I would like to live in my own house by the time I am 30
