This enzyme was developed as a sweetner for foods. It is a step on the way to making the food we eat today. Tasty food that is good for us.
-
The insulin was one of the first to be genetically modified to help humans who need it. It shows shows how biotechnology is used to give us the things we need.
-
The genes that were added were meant to increase nutritional value which was slowly leading up to today's trend. This is a perfect example because potatos are used to make mashed potatoes which is a popular food, and to make it healthier is even better for a person.
-
Dolly was a sheep whom was cloned from the utter of an adult ewe. This proved that it could be done and that cloned organisms could reproduce and could be used possibly just as well as non-cloned organisms.
-
The planting of these genetically modified foods meant that we would have more options as to what foods we would eat that are gentically modified. We may be eating this corn and not know it is gentically modified, we don't seem to mind because we obviously continue eating it.
-
This shows importance because the arabidopsis must have changed some form of the composition of the tomato plant to allow it to grow in salty water and soil. This may have made the tomato plant easier to acquire because it could grow in two common bases.
-
These vegetables included drought resistant tomatoes, salt-tolerant oats, and high calcium potatoes which possibly made them more resistant to rotting. It would probably be in a person's best interest to buy them due to them lasting longer than normal ones of their kind.
-
By increasing the nutritional food, they tastiness is not necessarily being taken away. The nutritional value is just being improved to make the food a healthier statement food.
-
In doing this it proves that food that comes from a different species is the same except different. It means that genetically modified food is discretely changed to possibly be better for us.
-
As we start the new decade with new technology, more GMO foods will be created. New trends will possibly begin due to this new generation.
-
If organisms and grown vegetables continue to be insulated with genes of other substances then more than 70% of crops and organisms will most likely be gentically modified.
-
If most of the organisms we use as a food source and the vegetables are all genetically modified then majority of our daily intake will be gentically modified.
