French & Indian war
The French & Indian war was going on between (1754-1763). The reasons why the French and British started fighting is that the British wanted the Native American land that the French were living on. The French were winning the war in the begining and it looked like they were gonna win the whole thing. In the end the Brisish defeated the French. -
Pontiac's War
In 1763 Pontiac and his multi-tribal group of wariors took over 9 of the 12 British forts. Pontiac's war was fought because the Native Americans didn't want the British to keep on trying to steal their land. The war affected the colonies by basically forbiding the British from buying or selling land past the Appalachian Mountians. -
Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 basically closed off the frontier expansion of the colonies. The purpose of the law was to stop the colonial frontier expansion. The colonist were mad because they already owned land west of the appolachian mountains. -
The Sugar Act
The Sugar Act was a law, it was written because the British had to pay off a war debt so they started taxing things like sugar and molasses. They only passed the law because of the war debt. The colonist were mad so they just smuggled the sugar and molasses in instead of paying more money for it. -

Treaty of Paris
The treaty of Paris was a written truce between the French & the British. The positive outcome for the British was that the British got the Native American land from the French because of winning the war. The effects the war had on the French was that they lost a lot of land.
