An agreement that led to the founding of the Eurpoean Economic Community. It was signed by Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and West Germany. -

It was the last major political/military conflirt of the Cold War about the status of Berlin and Germany after World War Two. -
Krushchev and "Berlin Ultimatum"
The Berlin Ultimatum was made during the Berlin Crisi of 1961. It occured the Cold War. The Ultimatum that Kruhchev wanted gave the Western Powere six months to withdrawl from Britain leaving it a free state. -
Berlin Wall
Originally called a Anti-Fascist Protection Rampart. The wall was meant to seperate East and West Berlin. Also it kept the people in East going to West and the People in West from going to East. -

Warsaw Treaty
A treaty between West Germany and the People's Republic of Poland. Provided coexisitenace and non violence on the border of the two countires. -
Moscow Treaty
Treaty between USSR and West Germany. The first trreaty between FGR and GDR. Both sides wanted normalization and the treaty gave it to them. -
Basic Treaty
"West Germany (FRG) and East Germany (GDR) recognized each other as sovereign states for the first time, an abandonment of West Germany's Hallstein Doctrine in favor of Ostpolitik." The signing of the treaty provided a way for the world to recognize Germany. -
Fall of the Berlin Wall
The wall was demolished and people were happy. They got to see their families again. There were many uprising from the people of East and West Garmany wanting the wall to be taken down. Thousands were killed. -
