Big Bang
The Big Bang theory is the prevailing cosmological model that describes the early development of the Universe. According to the Big Bang theory, the Universe was once in an extremely hot and dense state which expanded rapidly. This rapid expansion caused the Universe to cool and resulted in its present continuously expanding state. According to the most recent measurements and observations, the Big Bang occurred approximately 13.75 billion years ago. -

when the earth really started to be one big peice. Althought there was no life, we know this happened. -
Precambrian
The Earth forms. Continantal shields appear, fossils are rare, and stomatlites are the most common organism. It was the begining of life. -
Cambrian
TrilobitesShelled marine invertebrates appear, like trilobites and brachiopods are common in this period. also the first vertvbates appear. -
Ordovician
Echinoderms appeared, and brachiiopods increase but the trilobites declined, then graptolites flourished. Also atmosphere reaches modern air we breath now. -
Silurian
Eurypterids appeared. Land, plants and animals also appeared. -
Devonian
MegalodonThe age of the fishes had begun. Amphibians appeared along with giant horsetails, herns, and seed bearing plants developed. -
Mississippian
Amphibians flourished. Brachiopods are common in oceans everywhere. Most of the land was covered in swamps and forests. -
Pennsylvanian
Giant cockroaches and dragonflies were common. Coal deposits formed. Also reotiles appeared. -
Permian
Pangea comes togther. The a mass extinction masks the end of the Paleozoic era. -
Triassic
First dinosaurs appeared on earth. Ammonites were common. Cycads and conifers were abundant and mamals appeared. -
Jurassic
Some types of dinosaursDinosaurs were the dominant life-form at this time, thats why most people know jurassic for the time of the dinosaur. There was primitive bird and flying reptiles appeared. -
Cretaceous
flower plants and modern birls appeared. this was also a mass extiniction marking the end of the mesozoic era. -
7am Palepcene
This was the age of mammals begining, also when the frist primates appeared. -
9am Eocene
This is when horses, flying spuirrels, bats, and whales appeared. -
12pm Oligocene
Now we are going into more known and common animals, like deer, pigs, camels, cats and dogs were appearing. -
1pm Miocene
Then grazing herbs were becoming abundant. Also raccons and wolves appeared. -
8pm Pliocene
Then more of the large carnivores like lions and bears appeared. -

The last glacial period had ended. Now the complex human societies developed.
