In 1972 the first home gaming system was introduced. The Odyssey by Magnavox and later the same year ATARI introduced it's system With the game PONG. -
The first hand held calculators
In 1972 Texas Instruments released the first handheld pocket calculator to the public at a cost 0f about $150. -
The first cell phone
The "brick" cell phone was used and then introduced to the public in April of 1973. However, their popularity didn't take off until the early to mid 90's.
