Temujin's Birth
Sometime in 1162, the baby Temujin was born to the cheiftain, Yesukai, of the Mongol Tribe< Yakka. Temujin would soon be the cheiftain himself, but that wasn't for years. For now he was only a child, but with a horrible temper. -

Yesukai's Death
In 1175, Temujin's father was killed. He accepted food from a tribe that had long been enemies with the Mongols, the Tatars. Unsurpirsedly, the food was poisoned. At the age of 13, Temujin was left as the chieftain of the Yakka, who didn't want a leader so young. It is said that the members of the tribe began to scatter before their cheif's body was cold. -

Crusaders Enter Tiberias
The Crusader Army thought that the Muslims were heathens so they waged war against them. They were killing them off, until they entered Tiberias in the Battle of Hattin. During this, Saladin and his soldiers drove the Crusaders out of the country. -

King Richard had rebelled against his father twice before being crowned king in 1189. He spent only 6 months of his reign in England, and the rest in France, as he spoke only French. He was kong for 9 years, 8 months, and 30 days, before he died at age 41. -

Barbarossa was nearly 70 years old when he died. Supposedly he was drowned while crossing a swollen stream. Most of his army was dishearted and turned back. -

Finally, at 40 years old, Temujin was able to avenge his fathers death. In 1202 Temujin Triumphed over the Tatars. However, he did not only beat them, the few who survived joined the Yakka, under Temujin's rule. -

When Temujin defeated a childhood friend for the title Khan, Ong-Khan began to fear Temujins growing power. Ong-Khan began plotting Temujins murder. Hearing of this plan, temujin attacked his tribe, and defeated them, causing Ong-Khan to flee, later dieing at the hands of the Naimans. -

The fourth Crusade was directed at Egypt, because it was then the center of Muslim power. Constantinople ended up being attacked in 1204. After the fourth Crusade the city fell in strength, and two centuries later, the city fell victim to the Turks. -
