The Kingdom Divides
- After Solomon's death, the Northern and Southern tribes divied.
- The Northen kingdom became Samaria and the Southern bacame Judah.

The Northern Kingdom Period
930 BC–586 BC
-Historians refer to ancient Israel as the Northern Kingdom or the Kingdom of Samaria to tell it from the Southern Kingdom of Judah.
- The territory of the Kingdom of Israel comprised the territories of the tribes of Zebulun, Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, Dan, Manasseh, Ephraim, Reuben and Gad. -
The Southern Kingdom Period
930 BC–586 BC
- The House of David were leaders of Judah.
- The capital was Jeruselum and they spoke Hebrew. -
The Exile

-Daniel was one of the people first exiled to Babylon.
