Amazon Founded
Amazon was officially founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 from his garage. It originally started as an online bookseller until eventually becoming the massive online retail and delivery company of today, used by millions to order a variety of things to their homes with quick delivery. Sources:

Release of the Playstation
The Playstation was created by Sony Interactive Entertainment, a branch of Sony. The Playstation was a gaming console, the first ever to ship over 100 million units and we are now at the 5th generation of Playstation consoles today.
