Wan Li becomes the 13th emperor of the Ming dynasty. He assumed power at the age of nine years old. In only ten years the empire had flourished more than it had ever had. He was sucessful in all three wars against the Mongols, Toyotomi Hideyoshi of Japan, and The Yang Yinlong rebellion. -

He built his first telescope. This is not the first telescope built but it is Galileos first. This telescope alows him to advance his scientific studies. -
Moon of Jupiter
Useing his telescope Galileo observed the largest moon of Jupiter. He is the first person to ever see it. This is a important discovery because it shows other planets lunar cycles. -
Sun spots
Galileo using his telescope finds sun spots. he notes the fact that they move and disappear. No date recorded. -
Reaserch interupted
The Pope alows Galileo to continue his reasearch. Galileo can not have his reaserch published as more than a theroy. This is not the only time galileo is inturupted -
Heliocentric View Published
Galileo publishes his Heliocentric View. Strictly agaisnt the Popes orders. This is the first time anybody disobeyed the Pope directly. -
Galileo dies
This the end of The Father of Modern Science. Even though Galileo is dead his work lives on. He is also recognized for work he did during his life after he died. -

Heliocentric accepted
Galileos work is finally accepted by the Church. After 180 years his work is published as a fact. The church realises that the Sun is the center of the universe not the Earth -
Apology
The Pope admits the church is wrong. The other event was only the Church accepting the fact but not that they were wrong. This is important because now everybody belives in the heliocentric view galileo published
