Earthquake and Tsunami
The Magnatuide 9 earthquke hits Japan. The earthquake lasted six minutes. The Tsunami caused by the earthquake created imense damage in Fukushima Japan. -
Damage
Three of the nucler reacters were damaged in the earthquake and tsunami. The other three were unactive at the time and have not been reactivated -

TEPCO Tanks Leak
Since the reactors have broken TEPCO has been them cooling down with lots of water. The water now contaminated is being stored in huge tanks. These tanks are leaking because TEPCO isn't setting them up properly. -
Evacuation
The goverment made a 20 km no go zone around the power plant. The plant was not safe to be around because of the damage that was created by the earthquake and the tsunami. -
Decommission
Four of the six nucler reacters were decommissioned by the goverment. They were decomissioned by the government because they were unsafe to use and be around since they were damaged in 2011. -
Huge Leak
A storage tank leaked 30 metric tons of contamanated water into the ground -
Ice Wall Plan
TEPCO proposes away to stop the radioactive water from getting into the sea the "Ice Wall". The Ice Wall will freeze the ground preventing the spead of the radioactive water. -
LEAK agian
The tanks leaked agian and 100 gallons of water may have leaked into the sea. See article
